wahoo! just watch xmen 3 with my class and it was awesome. to all those who said it sucked, well... you can go suck a goat or something.
well, the movie was pretty much "good meets evil, good fights evil, good owns evil". kinda predictable, but still nice. certain things i didn't count on though:
mystique losing her powers. WHAT THE $%^&!! how can the directors make mystique lose her powers. her powers are imbalanced!! plus she looks hotter in blue (and naked xD ).
the "many man" is nonsense. we had a discussion and leonard said "mutation happens at cellular level and cloning at such a fast rate is simply impossible". but then again, it's the movies, who cares?
charles xavier dying. he pretty much got disintegrated by phoenix. but he came back to life in the end. (for those who don't know what i'm talking about, you probably didn't bother waiting for the credits to finish rolling)
i certainly don't remember rogue being so fat and ugly and useless. oh, and kitty is more kitty-ish now. young, blur and reckless.
juggernaut is absolutely not a mutant. his name (the character name, not actor name silly) is cain marko. he gained his powers of near invulnerability when he found the gem of cyttorak. so, he is not a mutant and does not possess any mutant powers like "unstoppable inertia".
that's about all is new in xmen 3. and even though it is "xmen 3: the last stand", i've got this strange feeling the xmen 4 is gonna come out. the ending of this movie gives people the "to be continued..." feeling, so yea, watch out for the 4th instalment people.
oh yea. crazy ass director. he killed too many mutants in this movie, grr!
